It was a wonderful day, Saturday, November 10th at Rausch Family Dentistry in Stone Mountain Georgia. The doors opened for the fourth annual Dentistry from the Heart event at 7:30 AM.
Drs. Candace Rausch, Gerald Rausch, Ray Cornay of Rausch Family Dentistry were joined by Dr. Lola Oh of John’s Creek and Dr. Marjorie Cabell of Hampton, Georgia, for a fun and rewarding day serving those in need in our community. From opening until 4:30 PM, the dentists and more than 30 volunteers worked steadily providing free dental care to those in need.
Nearly 100 Patients arrived early and waited in line patiently for the services which were performed on a first come first served basis. Patients had their choice of one service a free, cleaning, extraction or filling.
Dr. Candace Rausch said, “It takes a lot of work and dedication to put on an event like this, we would like to thank our doctors, volunteers, sponsors, and members of the community who donated time and resources to make this event a success. The patients were very appreciative and it was a pleasure for us to be able to help them.”
The 2018 Dentistry from the Heart event provided $25,119 of free dental care, more than $6,000 more than the record $19,107 from the 2017 event. All of the patients were very grateful for the expert care that they received.

Brush Your Teeth Daily!
For good oral health, brush your teeth twice a day with a good fluoride toothpaste!
How Old Is Your Toothbrush?
Replace your toothbrush every 3 or 4 months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed. A worn toothbrush won't do a good job of cleaning your teeth.
A Healthy Diet Makes a Healthy Smile!
For healthy teeth and gums, eat a balanced diet and limit between-meal snacks. Go easy on sugary treats!
